Refund and Return Policy

1. Right of Withdrawal (EU and UK customers only)

In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU and equivalent UK regulations, customers residing in the European Union or the United Kingdom have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, contact us at info@francescofanti.com with your order number and intent to return.

Conditions:

• Items must be returned in their original condition, unused, and in their original packaging.
• The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.
• The customer bears the risk of loss or damage during return transit. We recommend a tracked shipping service.
• Sets of five bookmarks are sold as a single unit. Partial returns of individual bookmarks from a set are not accepted.
• Refunds (including original standard shipping costs, excluding any upgraded shipping option chosen by the customer) will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, to the original payment method.

This right does not apply to customers outside the EU and UK.

2. Damaged or Defective Items (all customers, worldwide)

If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us at info@francescofanti.com within 14 days of delivery, including:

• Order number
• Clear photographs of the damaged item(s) and the packaging
• Brief description of the issue

We will review your claim and provide return instructions if applicable. Once approved, you may choose between:

• Full refund to the original payment method, or
• Free replacement of the affected item(s)

Return shipping costs for verified defective or damaged items will be covered by us according to the instructions we provide.

3. Color and Print Variations

Our bookmarks are fine art photographic prints on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 500gsm cotton paper. Minor variations in color, tone, or texture between the digital images displayed online and the printed product are an inherent characteristic of fine art printing on cotton paper and do not constitute a defect. Such variations are not eligible for refund or replacement.

4. Customs Duties and Import Taxes (orders outside the EU)

Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or handling fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product price or shipping cost.

If a package is refused, rejected, or not collected by the customer (including refusal due to customs charges), any return shipping costs and original shipping costs will be deducted from the refund. We cannot guarantee that the refund will cover the full order amount in such cases.

5. Incorrect Shipping Address

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, reshipment costs will be at the customer's expense.

6. Non-Returnable Situations

• Change-of-mind returns from customers outside the EU and UK are not accepted.
• Items damaged due to improper handling after delivery are not eligible for refund or replacement.
• Claims submitted after the 14-day window will not be processed.
• Partial returns of individual bookmarks from a set of five.

7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of approval. Processing times by your bank or payment provider may vary.
